Harbortown Builders' founder, Michael Miller, started working in the building industry as a teenager. He went on to the University of Massachusets where he studied electrical engineering & Computer Science graduating Cum Laude, while in college I competed in Soccer, Skiing, & Tennis and was captian o the Soccer team for 3 years.  Upon graduation, he went to work for Westinghouse specializing in RF controls for five years.

In 1993, Michael founded Harbortown Builders in Baltimore and returned to his first passion, building homes.
